Professor Cunningham was among 100 medical experts who participated in discussions on a long-term national health strategy.

At the summit the health delegates endorsed several recommendations including the support of better translation of Australia’s research efforts into commercial and health outcomes. This they agreed could be achieved by initial public investment supported by increased private and philanthropic investment in research and development.
