The Millennium Foundation is very pleased to announce the appointment of Eric d’Indy as the Foundation’s new Executive Director.

Eric has been heavily involved in the Australian community sector for 12 years in a senior executive role and brings a wealth of experience to the Millennium Foundation. For the period of 2003 to June 2007 he was Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs for Mission Australia (MA).

During this period, he was part of a high performing team which successfully brought 6 separate organisations together to launch and build MA to be one of the leading Welfare NGOs in Australia today. During this period, MA grew from $45m to $300m in turnover, the workforce from 1,000 to 3,000 employees and built a network of more than 300 welfare programs, assisting more than 200,000 disadvantaged Australians each year.

Eric and his team grew the corporate and community support of the organisation by 300%, successfully launched the new corporate identity and raised its awareness level to 78% within four years of operations.

Eric managed an income budget of $20 million, was responsible for a staff of 50 people across Australia.

Eric is extremely passionate about Medical Research and is looking forward to leading the Millennium Foundation into the Future.
